The MOPSC was formed thanks to an educational grant awarded to the Product Stewardship Institute by the St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. These grants have enabled the PSC to educate Missourians and create awareness of product stewardship as a waste management tool.
The MOPSC is coordinated by the Product Stewardship Institute.
